Exterior Design
A new face with more defined upper grille and bold lower grille makes the 2025 EQS look more like its gas-powered luxury siblings. That said, with LED exterior lighting and signature accents, the 2025 EQS looks every bit the futuristic luxury sedan that it is. The unique looks are all in an effort to reduce drag and improve efficiency so you can get the most out of the electric powertrain. Meanwhile, the 2025 EQS SUV offers a more upright profile, with an elevated ride height and classic SUV proportions for greater luxury and versatility.
Interior Design
The tech-forward design of the 2025 EQS puts screens all across the dash, making the cabin feel more like a sci-fi cockpit than a classic luxury cruiser. Still, features like heated and ventilated seats, premium leather upholstery, and 21-way power-adjustable front seats give you the premium luxury you expect, whether you choose the sedan or the SUV.
Performance
The 2025 EQS lineup offers three power options, the first being a rear-drive EV with 329 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The mid-range choice gives you 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and 355 horsepower, plus a staggering 590 pound-feet of torque to get you moving. Finally, the top-spec option delivers 516 horsepower and 611 pound-feet of torque and can take you from zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. New features include an improved regenerative braking system for better brake feel, and an Intelligent Disconnect feature that allows for 4MATIC® models to enter a true two-wheel drive mode for improved efficiency.
Even better, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS sees improved range thanks to a new battery pack and advanced regenerative braking tech. Now you can go up to 390 miles from a full charge, up from about 350 miles in previous models.
Technology
With tech stretching across the dash in the 2025 EQS, you might think that its all for show. However, the zero-layer MBUX system puts all the information you need in front of you, so you never have to search through menus to find the right setting. And with additional touches like 3D navigation and automatic park assist, you'll have the tech you need to handle the most challenging routes.
Safety
The 2025 EQS offers a wealth of standard safety features including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise with stop and go, and even a lane-change assist. You can also have semi-autonomous drive modes for even easier highway cruising.
